Kobe Bryant was a one-of-a-kind talent who excelled on the basketball court. He gave the NBA fans some of the finest memories of the game. Bryant has played with several of the current roster of the NBA, including LeBron James. One particular NBA personality who saw the two play together has described the unique dynamic that they shared.

Kobe and LeBron never actually played in an NBA game, but the two were part of the Olympic team in 2008 and 2012. During both outings, the USA won a gold medal – and Team USA’s coach had something to say about Kobe and LeBron on the court.

Coach Mike Krzyzewski recently retired from his coaching stint at Duke University. In an interview with the media, he spoke about how Kobe Bryant and LeBron James had a one-of-a-kind interaction on the court. Mike Krzyzewski was speaking about their exceptional run during the Olympics Games in 2018 and 2012, where the two played together.

He told Laker’s Nation, ?It was so genuine and literally, they were not jealous of one another. It was kind of like a great piano player playing and all of a sudden, there?s the greatest sax player playing. They knew that their talents were going to be taken to a higher level playing with one another. Man, that was good. I get chills thinking about it because I was actually there and saw those guys interact and there was never any problems.?

Kobe and LeBron have another connection – the two played for the Lakers but at different points in time. Both of them have etched for themselves a place in the history of the team and the NBA.

James is on his way to smashing records and creating new ones, now that he has nothing left to prove. Every season, there are rumors that LeBron might bid adieu to the game. James has had the taste of championship success and led the Los Angeles Lakers to their first championship win in a decade when he joined forces with them in 2020.

Currently, LeBron has four championship rings, just one short of the legendary Kobe. With this, he is in the league of the NBA greats like Michael Jordan (6), Scottie Pippen (6) and Magic Johnson (5). With LeBron returning to the court this season, NBA fans are assured of some great basketball – and newer records.
