Atlanta Hawks injury report: Is Trae Young playing?

Atlanta might have a reason to worry. Why? Trae Young’s status for Saturday is up in the air due to a hamstring issue. No, it’s not the Achilles problem that’s been nagging him all season. Thankfully, that hasn’t kept him off the court. But this time? Things could be different. The 26-year-old star is having a stellar 2024-25 season, dropping 22.9 points per game and leading the league with 11.7 assists. And against the Raptors? He’s been a menace, averaging 26.5 points, 10.6 assists, and 3.5 rebounds in 20 games.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks will continue to miss Larry Nance Jr. on the court after his surgery earlier in December 2024. He had a fractured fourth metacarpal bone in his right hand, but seems like the team has upgraded him to probable for Saturday. Clint Capela (knee soreness) is listed as day-to-day and Jalen Johnson’s shoulder issue will keep him out against Toronto. The Hawks are also going to miss Zaccharie Risacher as his left adductor strain will keep him out and as per the team, he will re-evaluated next week. And Cody Zeller will miss the game due to personal reasons on Saturday.

Toronto Raptors injury report

The Toronto Raptors shooting guard Ochai Agbaji has been ruled out for Saturday’s game vs. the Atlanta Hawks due to hand issues. He will miss a fourth straight game Saturday for the team. Toronto could turn to Bruce Brown and Jamison Battle to shoulder the load with the 24-year-old still on the mend. Meanwhile, Immanuel Quickley (hip) and Kelly Olynyk (calf) have also been sidelined for the matchup against Trae Young anc Co.

Now, let’s look at the depth charts of both teams.
