Ahead of the Tuesday night match-up against the Orlando Magic, coach Steve Kerr addressed the media. The Golden State Warriors HC revealed the current equation between Draymond Green and the management following the indefinite suspension. Kerr said that he currently stays in touch via text messages and also clarified that the power forward hasn’t been available at the facility after the ugly incident.

This is the season which the Dubs would try to forget. The team had all sorts of trouble, struggling to find the winning combination, lack of consistency from the stars, and so on. On top of it, DrayMagic again troubled the franchise by walking himself into an indefinite suspension after throwing a punch at Jusuf Nurkić.

The Warriors have gone through a lot of changes following the exit of Draymond Green. The youngsters like Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga found their way up to the starting line, and helped the team get its rare 5-game winning streak. However, the things didn’t remain the same for the side.

Now, Steve Kerr constructed a new line-up bringing in Chris Paul and Trayce Jackson-Davis and the new mix is yet to win a game. Amid these testing times, the head coach opened up about the Green situation. While it was clear that Green hasn’t been spotted at the Dubs facility yet, the important question always remained, when is he getting back on the court? For which Kerr doesn’t have an answer.

Instead he said, “We’ve been giving him his space, he’s been giving us ours,” while clarifying that there aren’t any further updates on this affair yet.

This is the aftermath of his ugly third ejection in this particular season. During the Dubs’ last outing against the Phoenix Suns, Green took a swing at Nurkic, who was guarding him near the arc. The refs immediately ejected him.

While it seemed like the 33-year-old would be back in the next game, the league tightened its screws and slapped an unexpected move.

When will Green return?

Days in to the suspension, the prominent NBA Insider Shams Charania reported that the star would undergo a counseling process and expected him to miss at least three weeks. And, the 4x NBA Champion is all set to miss out on his 10th straight game tonight.

And as per the Charania report, the three-week window ends in January 10th and Green could most likely take the court against the New Orleans Pelicans.
