Amongst millions of fans, NBA superstar LeBron James is one. The sporting icon is keeping a close eye on Baltimore Ravens’ talismanic quarterback, Lamar Jackson. Jackson’s recent performances have impressed King James.

Lamar Jackson has made a significant impact in the NFL since being drafted in 2018 by the Baltimore Ravens. Known for his exceptional speed and ability to both pass and run effectively, Jackson has been a dual-threat force. He won the NFL MVP award in his second season, becoming the youngest quarterback to do so. His style of play has been influential in the evolution of offensive schemes in the league.

Jackson has started the 2023-24 NFL season on fire, recording 1084 TOT yards and five touchdowns in his first five games of the season.

In the ongoing game between the Ravens and Detroit Lions, Lamar Jackson has been cooking. In the first half alone, Jackson has recorded 281 TOT yards, three touchdowns, and has thrown zero interceptions. The Ravens lead the game 28-0 at the break. Jackson’s stellar performance against the Lions has caught the eye of basketball icon LeBron James. During the game, LeBron tweeted, “Man Lamar is so damn good!!! Wow!! Pocket presence”. 

A fan amazed by Lamar’s incredible performance wrote, “LAMAR JACKSON GOTTA BE IN THE MVP TALK.” To which LeBron replied, “GOTTA BE!!!”

LeBron’s Love for NFL

LeBron James has long been known as a passionate fan of the NFL. Growing up in Akron, Ohio, LeBron developed a deep love for football and was a talented wide receiver in high school. He even received football scholarship offers. Though he chose basketball and became one of the greatest NBA players, his love for football never waned.
