The greatest player and a 4-time champion LeBron James’s love for the NFL is not new. In fact, he has been vocal about his love for the sport in the past. He even had opportunities to compete for a place in the NFL during the 2011 NBA players’ lockout. The NBA star says two teams approached him, the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys during the lockout. This stopped activity in the league between July and December 2011. He has recently shared his love for football again. 

LeBron finds heaven on earth

LeBron has shared a story on his Instagram handle while watching an NFL game on TV. He captioned the story writing ‘Heaven on Earth’. We can see his four NBA trophies in the story while he is enjoying the game.

His passion for sports extends beyond just basketball and football. He is also an avid fan of baseball and soccer. In 2011, he even became a minority shareholder in Liverpool Football Club. But it’s clear that football holds a special place in his heart right next to his trophies. He has even said that he would love to own a football team in the NFL one day. 

LeBron’s success over two decades on and off the court has made him one of the wealthiest athletes in the world. He is a successful businessman and investor. He has made smart investments in companies like Beats by Dre and Blaze Pizza, which have helped him amass a fortune. In fact, he became the first active NBA player to become a billionaire. 

But despite his wealth and success, it seems that LeBron still finds joy in simple pleasures like watching a game of football.

LeBron has a history with football 

His love for football can be traced back to his high school days. He was an all-state wide receiver in high school and was on the radar of several top college football programs. However, he missed his senior year of football with a broken wrist and decided to concentrate on his career in the NBA.

But even though he chose basketball as his profession, LeBron never lost his love for football. In fact, he has often spoken about how much he enjoys watching and following the sport.

“I love football. I love the physicality of it. I love the strategy of it. I love the teamwork of it.” He says about the NFL.
