Paul George's warning vs. Draymond's antics—who's got the upper hand in this social media showdown?

Draymond Green holds a reputation for being a trash-talker in the league and often draws controversy. However, this time, the Warriors star has caught fans’ eyes for being goofy on social media.

The 4x NBA All-Star attempted new moves with his female following, and fans left no chance to overlook it. Green recorded a TikTok video on the song ‘Just Now.’ One of the NBA and NFL news covering X handle posted the snippet of the Warrior attempting to dance with the girls, captioned, “Draymond Green doing a TikTok dance wasn’t something I expected😂.”

However, the 4x NBA champion did not seem prepared for it. He was just trying to replicate her fellow dancers. But after witnessing the reaction from the fans, it seems Draymond Green won’t go for a second try unless he masters it.

The Warriors star might not be the best at the dance at this juncture, but he is one of the best minds in basketball. And he recently used it to issue a warning to the Sixers’ new takeaway from summer, Paul George. The Philly fans are quite passionate about their team. More than anyone else, they criticize their team the best. The reason why they inducted PG13 into their squad is to get a championship. They wanted a third All-Star, and they got it. Following the 34-year-old forward’s entry, if anything goes wrong from George’s end, Philly fans won’t spare him.

Therefore, Draymond Green passed a message to PG13 from Clutch Points, “Good luck, Paul George. Aw, he better play well, or they’re going to crush Paul George if he don’t play well, oh my god.” Reasoning his perspective regarding why Philly fans are so hard on their players, Dray added, “You know why they’re gonna crush Paul George if he doesn’t play well there? They already got a nasty taste in their mouth from the last three (small forward) that they had with Tobias Harris. They never felt like he brought it, so that’s why.”

Have an interesting take?

George has a history of being under the radar of critics for his on court antics. The Game 7 of the LA Clippers against the Nuggets is the biggest testimony to PG13’s habit of pulling criticism his way. The 9x All-Star launched a three-pointer from the corner and overwhelmingly missed it as the ball hit the end of the board. It might be the reason that Draymond was so sarcastic about it.

Nonetheless, even the Warrior star got the result of his karma for failing to attempt to try something new!

Fans guffaw after witnessing the new side of Draymond Green on TikTok

After witnessing moves from the Warriors star, one of the fans brought out his intrusive thoughts on Green’s old age. Reacting to the X post, the user commented, “At last call when you’re too old to be there.” It did seem real since Draymond’s movements were slow in comparison to the ones dancing beside him.

Another fan seemed to be more of a troller at the snippet. Assuming Draymond must have taken the dare to dance, the fan commented on

X, “I fucking dare Draymond Green to have a bad game.” Being a power forward, Green is consistent on all ends, averaging above 7 points for about the past six seasons. He is not as explosive as he used to be, but his field goal percentage is still 49.7%.

A female on X burst out laughing eventually after witnessing Draymond Green’s performance as he replied on Warrior’s TikTok video,

“🤣🤣🤣🤣.” And it’s the only moment when 4x All-Star made people laugh. Even on the court, it is a likely incident. For instance, once, during a match against the Sacramento Kings, Green was calling Curry to get to the other end of the floor. However, due to the noise in the arena, Steph couldn’t get the signal. Eventually, in an attempt to make Curry notice, Green jumped like a creature to gain Steph’s attention. Even commentators could not stop themselves from splitting their sides because of the laugh after witnessing such a sight. Before leaving, do watch the Dual Threat Show hosted by BG12 where Bulldogs’ Asia Avinger details her experience with Kobe Bryant, her WNBA ROTY picks, and more in the video below.
