One led the highest office in the country, while the other led the franchise to four championships. However, former POTUS took a hilarious dig at the Golden State Warriors guard when he compared the locker room to the Oval Office.

The 44th U.S. President and the 9x NBA All-Star sat down to discuss the Former President’s memoir A Promised Land. In an IG Live, they delved into the various facets of Obama’s presidency journey, his philosophy of life, his views on leadership and much more.

While speaking of the former president’s leadership role, the Chef made a humorous comparison. Being one of the oldest players in the team, the Chef often assumes the role of a leader and a mentor during games. Therefore, he has some first-hand experience with leadership.

Steph inadvertently made a comparison between his locker room and the Oval Office, which generated an amusing response from President Obama. He said, “You are an old man!” To which the Chef said, “I didn’t say all that. I said I’m the oldest. That can mean I’m the young old.”

Stephen Curry plans on staying for a long time

Even though the former President think Curry is old, the league?s all-time three-point leader has proved those notions wrong on the court. At 35, when most players slow down, the 4x NBA Champion is playing at an elite level.

Curry’s father Dell Curry played for 16 years in the NBA. However, the last three years proved to be extremely difficult for Dell, having to deal with constant back spasms. The Baby-Faced Assassin feels like he still has a lot left in his tank, and therefore he turned to high-profile NFL quarterbacks for advice on longevity.

Stephen Curry in an interview with Andscape said, “I talked to Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and other guys who have been on the other side of the halfway point. I know quarterbacking is different, but you can check yourself [mentally] into not fast-forwarding too far. They really did a good job of disciplining themselves for what is happening in real-time. They?re 40 feeling like they can still play. I?m trying to stay in that mode. Thirty-five is a big milestone, but the next one is 40. The way I feel right now, who knows?”
