This year’s NBA offseason hasn’t been one of the pretty ones so far. Apart from Bradley Beal joining the Phoenix Suns, there are still superstars on other teams that are dying to get out. Specifically, Damian Lillard and James Harden. Both players have requested a trade out of their respective franchises and the teams have yet to make any move. However, there might be some sliver of hope for one of these two superstars.

Both James Harden and Damian Lillard have been extremely vocal about their demands this offseason, only to be disappointed so far. So, this seven-time NBA champion’s advice to the $ 265,000,000-rich Dame and Harden may just work wonders for the two.

NBA legend offers advice to James Harden and Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard and James Harden are both exceptional players who excel at what they do. Though the two have had different histories in the league, both Dame and Harden have amassed a total of combined $265,000,000 in net worth.

Yet, the two are struggling to get their demands met this offseason. Both James Harden and Damian Lillard want out of their respective franchises. But there hasn’t been much advancement in both their cases.

But seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry may have a simple solution to their problems. On the Big Shot Bob Pod with Robert Horry, the NBA legend was asked about his views on Lillard and Harden remaining untraded.

That is when Horry said, “Just play your way out of there. You know, if you go out and play and show everybody that you’re killing it this season, they’re gonna put so much on the table to get you on their squad.”

“So, let your play do the talking. Your play got you all that money which is making you difficult to trade. So, let your play do your talking. That’s all you gotta do.”

Will things work out for Harden and Lillard?

Robert Horry made a strong point on how the two players can get their wishes fulfilled if they play at a high level. Now, this could be said about Harden who just hasn’t been that productive for a few years.

But Lillard has been nothing short of amazing despite his team’s track record. Damian Lillard makes sure to leave everything on the floor every time he steps on it. So, what has Lillard got to do to get his request addressed?
