Recently the reigning MVP Joel Embiid and his Philadelphia 76ers are conducting a four-day training camp in Colorado. This places them in Deion Sanders’ backyard. On account of James Harden’s inevitable exit, the offensive load falls on Embiid’s shoulders. Owing to that, Coach Prime decided to give a locker room speech. However, this rubbed former NBA sharpshooter JJ Redick the wrong way.
Redick objected to the camera being taken to the Locker Room, as it was a sacred place for players and coaches. Tweeting out against Coach Prime’s callout of the reigning MVP, asking, “Is the locker room not sacred?” LeBron James echoed that sentiment, posting the tweet to his Instagram story with the caption, “Couldn’t have said it better! Straight FACTS!!!!”
King James’ didn’t sit well with former NBA star Kwame Brown. As slammed the 4 time MVP for his sentiments. “LeBron you don’t got sh*t for your sons outside of them playing basketball.” LeBron James has nothing for his son outside of playing basketball and the money that he made,” said Brown.
He further added, “Deion Sanders has monopolized his name, the school, his children. Everywhere they go, they all got YouTube channels. They all making money. Shedeur Sanders got his own money already, he has his own brand already.”
Furthermore, the former first-overall pick goes on to call King James a “puppet”. Meanwhile, he praised Coach Prime even more. Amidst all this attack, LeBron played his first NBA game in the Pre-season. Seems like the Los Angeles Lakers’ front-office efforts are paying off.
