Another disastrous night for the newly traded star guard as the Clippers went against the Dallas Mavericks. After registering a loss to the Knicks and then the Brooklyn Nets, this was the third consecutive loss for the LA Clippers.

Well, Harden is sitting on a ticking career clock, and the time’s not far when he will be fed up with LA as well. Owing to the same fact, the opposing team’s news anchor destroyed the PG on air as the Clippers failed to perform again.

James Harden has had a tough time post-debut

Just before the tipoff, Mavericks announcer Brian Dameris lashed out at what James Harden was choosing to do. In the entire 2:05-minute monologue, Dameris just pointed out how Daryl Morey laid himself out for the point guard, but Harden kept pointing fingers at all the others except himself. He concluded his bashing with, “Cause James Harden, you are not the beard, not the system; you are the problem.”

After acquiring Harden from the Houston Rockets, Morey stood his ground to maintain a lifetime bond. While Morey went out of his way to replace the Rockets’ coach, trade Harden to the Sixers, and slow down the pace to suit his speed, Harden still left the partnership midway. Not only that, things heated up when The Beard called Morey a “LIAR”. Although the Philadelphia 76ers were able to find a suitable trade for the player in his last year of contract, things might not be so smooth for the PG.

The announcer seems right in mentioning that Harden doesn’t have a ‘Morey-like’ shield to protect him when he doesn’t perform. If and when he fails to put up a great show, the franchise he so yearned to join might get rid of him, the announcer pointed out. Well, it seems right to point out here that with consecutive losses, even after acquiring Harden, the Clippers might be regretting their decision.

In the Clippers vs. Mavericks game, it’s the fourth quarter, and the Clippers are, as usual, trailing behind. With a score of 110-126, it’s nearly impossible for the Clippers to witness a comeback with 5:50 minutes remaining in the game. And so it turned out, the Clippers lost 126-144. After posting a turbo start in the first quarter, the team witnessed a significant dip in the second quarter.

Even after fighting their best in the fourth quarter, the lead couldn’t be turned around at 37-29. As every Harden fan, the payer himself might need to answer the franchise at this point. Well, the player indeed has some very big shoes to fill with his not-so-booming career trajectory.
