Deion Sanders has been great for the Colorado Buffaloes as a head coach. He flipped the teams’ fortune and transformed their dismal 1-11 record last season into three victories in five weeks. It also never reached a full-season sellout until Sanders joined this season. Owing to all the recent success, ‘Coach Prime’ recently met the Philadelphia 76ers team to impart an invaluable lesson to the players.

However, LeBron James, who has extended his support to Coach Prime on many occasions, is unhappy with this move. Why is that?

Sanders recently met with Joel Embiid and the 76ers post-team workout in Fort Collins for dinner. He took this opportunity to deliver an important message about showing up to the games and competing. He spoke about how legendary players, back when he was growing up, did not waste their time engaging in petty fights.

Coach Prime also urged Joel Embiid to be up for the challenge against Nikola Jokic after he missed the last game against the Denver Nuggets. This video was reportedly recorded by Deion Sanders’ camera crew and was later posted online.

However, ESPN’s JJ Redick expressed his discontent with the Coach for releasing the video and hampering the sanctity of the locker rooms. His disapproval of Sanders’s ways found a supporter in the Lakers star LeBron James. The Lakers guard posted the tweet on his Instagram and wrote, “Couldn’t have said it better. Straight facts”. This move by LeBron led to him being ripped apart by a retired Lakers center.

Kwame Brown streamed a live video on his YouTube channel, ‘Kwame Brown’, where he lambasted LeBron for supporting JJ Redick.

After referring to James as a “puppet,” Brown further added, “It’s funny how Deion Sanders ain’t say a damn thing to you. Ain’t say a damn thing to nobody. And you bring your a** up here with that large platform that you got and you speaking about Deion through JJ Redick. You are a f**king bald-head coward with a rug on top of your f**king head. You are a rug-head-wearing coward.”

Just like LeBron backed JJ Redick’s statement, he has also extended his support to the NFL legends’ “fake people” comment. It is obvious that LeBron’s actions were driven by his moral convictions rather than hatred for Sanders.
