Stephen Curry‘s wife recently opened up about her journey towards self-acceptance. The mother of three even talked about her stress-eating and insecurities that often make celebs lose their oomph factor.

After the birth of her second child, Ayesha faced battles that even Stephen Curry couldn’t help with. While the Baby Faced Assassin was bringing laurels to the Dub Nation, his better half was fighting demons.

Ayesha Curry is one of the most popular celebrity moms out there. Her three beautiful children are unique in their own way. Riley being the eldest understands the game of basketball. However, she doesn’t seem to like much other than her father’s championships. Riley has always been seen accompanying Steph during the championship parades, or even sitting courtside.

I learned during that time that I’m a stress eater,” Ayesha said. “So, instead of losing baby weight, I just continued to put on weight. So, I think this is where the mental part of things started to creep in.”

She recalled, “I started to develop some serious insecurities about my body because my b**bs after nursing… Honestly, I lifted up my shirt one day, and they just had to laugh.” The pressures of motherhood, coupled with the physical changes she was experiencing, took a toll on her self-image.

But Ayesha’s honesty about her struggles resonates with many women who face similar challenges.

During that process, Ayesha discovered that she was gaining weight after giving birth rather than losing it. This change started to have an effect on her mental as well as physical health. Her weaknesses and insecurities became apparent during the process. But Ayesha really fought back in a matter of a few months.

A year ago, she finally overcame her fears and struggles. While she acknowledges that it couldn’t have been possible if not for the support from the Golden State Warriors star, her sheer commitment forced her to lose an incredible 35lbs in a matter of few months.
