With Thompson on the podcast, the trio had an inside scoop on the Warriors. Thompson opened up about his early AAU memories, his friendship with Stephen Curry, and inspirational Kobe Bryant moments. Amidst this, the NBA stars poked fun at a former basketball athlete for being an oldie.?

During the episode, Klay Thompson was asked to share his insights on young talents like Jordan Poole. The 24-year-old Poole was recently drafted to the Washington Wizards as a part of a major Warriors-Wizards deal. Chris Paul got traded to the Golden State Warriors for Jordan Poole and several other NBA prospects.?

Thompson admits Poole had a major role to play in the 2022 championship win and the absence of the All-Star caliber player will be duly missed. Thompson commented with hope, ?Jordan?s forever going to be cherished in the Warriors?and I know he is going to do great things in Washington.??

And age is nothing but a number

Meanwhile, Paul George chimes, saying he loves ?sh******g? on young NBA talents, Poole being his favorite. Thompson laughs it off with, ?Yeah, we have that age now.?

PG continues to talk about how he considers Thompson and himself as the ?OGs? now. Thompson concurred by classifying players like LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden in the same class.

As Thompson struggled to recollect the names of players who are the same age as he is while Jackie Long mentions Kenny Brunner. Brunner, a basketball coach now, was a former basketball player. He too was a SoCal legend and an ABA All-Star in 2006. The NBA starlets failed to remember Brunner and said, ?That might have been in the 80s or like 82?.?

As an insult to injury, PG asked Jackie if Bruner played with Allen Iverson. Jeering and laughing, the players taunted Long for reminding them of the ?80s. The 44-year-old Kenny Brunner got roasted on the podcast for being old news. Jackie Long goes on to elaborate that he sometimes forgets how much younger George and Thompson are because ?y?all look old as hell.?
