It seems like the air in Paris really does have something special. Then again, it’s not called the ‘City of Love’ for nothing, we suppose. While Devin Booker’s love life, which rivals a telenovela, is taking up quite a chunk of everyone’s interest, right now, the NBA world has been more focused on another pair – Bam Adebayo and A’Ja Wilson. Yup, the two have been playing with our heads for some time now, living in there rent-free.

A recent instance where the two looked like they were on a public date happened about a month earlier during Team USA’s training camp in Las Vegas. But since neither of them has addressed these rumors, they remain just that.

Yet, another adorable not-so-subtle moment between the Heat’s big man and Las Vegas Aces’ superstar after the women’s team won gold in the Olympics had many viewers go ‘awww’. Almost all the men’s basketball teammates were at hand to cheer their fellow players. And who else but Bam and A’ja had a special handshake between them? I mean, the king of elaborate handshakes was standing right next to the second-time Olympian, but Wilson settled for a simple handshake with LeBron James!

And now, to add more heat to the ongoing deliberations, was the duo’s day out in Paris captured on film. Both basketball stars were seen exiting a store and getting into a car together. Again, neither has confirmed if they are dating. Nevertheless, it does not stop fans from going gaga over the two.

Adding fuel to the fire was Bamonte’s Heat teammate’s comments on the same.

Bam Adebayo and MVP A’Ja Wilson – yay or nay?

Well, if you were to ask Adebayo’s fellow Heat star, Jaime Jaquez Jr., chances are, the 23-year-old would plead the fifth. Because that’s exactly what JJJ did in a late June tête-à-tête. The ex-UCLA product was busy playing the video game, Apex Legends, when one of his in-game teammates asked if the rumors were true.

Although caught unawares, Jaquez Jr. replied, “Listen, I’m not saying nothing. I cannot confirm or deny anything I don’t know. I plead the 5th.” Of course, this was more than enough for the hawk-eyed fans to confirm their suspicions.

Neither Adebayo nor Wilson have had the dramatic public love life that usually seems to follow their fellow basketball players. In the case of the former, the 3x NBA All-Star has been successful in keeping his relationships (if any) under wraps and away from scrutinizing eyes. But Wilson has been in a long-time relationship with hooper, Josh Cunningham.

The pair had reportedly met in 2018. While the 2x WNBA champion has mentioned her boyfriend on a few occasions, the pair have kept a rather low profile, until recently. With their respective careers taking them in different directions, it seems like their long-distance relationship took a toll. Rumors of a breakup sparked after both of them unfollowed each other on social media.

Cunningham, who went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft, spent two months of the 2019-20 season with the G League, Westchester Knicks. The 6’8 power forward most recently played for Biguá, a Uruguayan basketball league based in Montevideo.

As such, there’s only one news fans of both Bam Adebayo and A’ja Wilson want to hear – a confirmation of all these dating rumors.
