The Golden State Warriors have had an abysmal season so far. They have struggled to get into the winning column the entire season. It has been either because of injuries or the drama surrounding their superstars. It is safe to say that the Warriors might no longer be a championship team. And we might be witnessing the downfall of one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history.

With Klay Thompson’s contract expiring this year and Draymond Green’s trade rumors catching fire, NBA legend Jamal Crawford chimed in on the possibility of the end of the Warriors Big 3.

Stephen Curry and Co. are currently ranked 11th in the Western Conference standings with a 15-17 record. They are far from contending for the title and might need to make some big moves to improve their roster. There is a high chance of the Warriors front office parting ways with Draymond Green or Klay Thompson before the end of this season. The move could come as soon as the February trade deadline. NBA legend Jamal Crawford talked for the entire Dub Nation, revealing how it would feel if the Warriors Big 3 parted ways this season. “It’s hard for me to imagine them not being together. … They (Steph, Klay, and Draymond) are up there with the best trios to ever play basketball, so it would be hard for me as a fan to envision them not being together.” Crawford said.

Even though it will be a hard decision to break up the Big 3, the Warriors might have no other option left. Klay is in the final year of his 5-year $189 million contract and will be looking for a sizable extension to continue with the Warriors. However, he has not played up to the mark this season. The Warriors might also want to part ways with Draymond because of the drama surrounding him.
