While fans on social media have relentlessly requested Lillard to join their favorite teams, NBA superstar Jayson Tatum had other plans. With Lillard’s profitable contract on the books, the Celtics would need to make the financial maths work. The Boston-based outfit would require over $41 million outbound salary to make the trade happen without parting ways with shooting guard Jaylen Brown.
