The Warriors are rolling into Dallas feeling good. Two straight road wins, Jimmy Butler fitting in like he’s been here forever, and Steph Curry doing Steph Curry things. Everything’s clicking at the right time. Now, they’ve got a big matchup with the Mavericks, and you already know Curry’s going to be the guy to watch.

The current situation for the Dallas team is extremely challenging due to multiple roster problems. The Dallas Mavericks lost Luka to the Lakers while they struggled through extensive injuries to their squad. The burden for leading Dallas requires Kyrie Irving to step up but the heat from Golden State makes this task exceptionally challenging.

Injury Report for the Warriors vs Mavericks

Golden State’s in pretty solid shape. The only big name missing is Jonathan Kuminga, who’s still out with that ankle sprain. He hasn’t played since January 4, but he’s getting some on-court work in, so he should be back after the All-Star break. Just gotta hold it down until then.

Kevon Looney? He’s good to go, even with a broken nose. He’ll be rocking a mask, but hey, he’s playing, and that’s what matters. So aside from Kuminga, the Warriors have their full squad ready.

Dallas, though? Whew. It’s bad. Daniel Gafford? Out. Anthony Davis? Out. Dereck Lively II, Dwight Powell, Caleb Martin? All out. And now P.J. Washington’s dealing with an ankle sprain too? Their entire frontcourt is basically wiped out. They’re gonna have to rely on their guards big time.

Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Key Players to Watch

Let’s talk about Steph for a second. The man’s been on fire—dropping 36 a game in the last two, pulling up from anywhere, and making defenders look silly. And Butler? The dude stepped in and immediately made an impact. Dropped 25 in his debut, 20 in the next game, and already looks like a perfect fit. You can tell he’s giving this team a whole new edge. Or, as Kerr said, “the it factor.”

Green is adjusting too. With Butler in the mix, his role’s shifting a little, but his shooting and defense are still huge for the Warriors. And a shoutout to Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody—both have been stepping up when needed.

For Dallas, it’s all about Kyrie. He put up 30 in that OT loss to the Kings, and with half his squad missing, he’s gonna have to go nuclear to keep them in this one. If P.J. Washington can play, that’ll help, but Dallas is seriously shorthanded. They need guys like Naji Marshall and Spencer Dinwiddie to step up in a big way.

This one feels like the Warriors’ game to dominate. Their stars are locked in, Butler’s fitting right in, and they’re almost at full strength. A win here would keep Golden State rolling into their next game against Houston with even more confidence. For ‘The Big D,’ it’s about staying afloat and hoping they get healthy soon. Either way, all eyes are on Curry tonight—because when he’s in this kind of zone, the Warriors are just a different beast.

Dallas? They’re just trying to survive. Too many injuries, not enough size, and way too much pressure on ‘Uncle Drew’. He can go off, sure—but can he do enough to take down a Warriors squad that’s clicking?
