The Warriors finally make the much-needed U-turn. The San Francisco side just needed a break to catch their breath. And Jonathan Kuminga & Co. delivered it, as they ended the 5-game losing streak against the 2nd-seeded Houston Rockets. Most importantly, it was without Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. Now they are also taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves in a back-to-back encounter at Chase Center.
Anthony Edwards & Co. are on a red-hot form with three wins in a row. The team didn’t have the same looks as it did last season. Karl-Anthony Towns’ absence has left the team unsettled and out of rhythm. After multiple losing streaks, the team is currently lodged as the 10th seed with an 11-10 record. However, the team seemed to have found its rhythm in the last few games, putting up consistent performance along with a 3-game winning streak.
Heading into the Bay Area to face the charged-up Dubs, the Wolves have a pretty healthy side. The team has listed only players on the injury report. Fortunately, the two players don’t belong either to the starting lineup or the rotation.

- Joe Ingles (Calf) – Out
- Rob Dillingham (Ankle) – Out
On the other hand, the Warriors may have a positive update ahead of the tip-off, but as of now, the team still has their core players on the report. Amid the absence of Steph and Green, the team played with a 9-man rotation and seemed to be working for the moment. So, the core team’s absence in tomorrow’s game won’t make much difference.
- Stephen Curry (Injury management) – Out
- Draymond Green (Calf) – Out
- De’Anthony Melton (Left ACL) – Out for the rest of the season.
Ahead of the Rockets’ game, the team had listed Andrew Wiggins due to an ankle injury. However, the star seemed to have pushed to play while battling the pain. Guess what? It served well.
Stephen Curry & Co. vs Wolves: Starting Lineup and Depth Chart
The Warriors may have a positive ahead of the game regarding Draymond Green. The 4x NBA Champ sustained a calf tightness injury, similar to the one he sustained in 2022, and it also kept him out of action for three months. While the injury caused a stir in the Dub Nation, the MRI came out clean. So, the report suggests that Green could lace up for the Wolves game. Moreover, Stephen Curry was also on injury management in the last game. So, we can expect him also to lace up.
