There are days when defeat comes as a surprise.  Friday was one such day for the Boston Celtics. TD Garden watched the home heroes falter before the Chicago Bulls. Seed nine of the Eastern Conference were in no mood to joke around. And yes, despite Jayson Tatum’s desperate 31-point game and Porginzis’ 20-point performance just wasn’t enough to stop Zach LaVine and Co.

But now that there is a chance to rewrite the plot, surely, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and others of the C’s won’t let it go. However, there needs to be a thorough understanding of what’s about to unfold in the back-to-back face-off the Bulls and Celtics are about to be in. And for that, you know what’s the best way to analyze? Of course, injury reports and depth charts! So, without further ado, let’s begin.

Boston Celtics injury report: Is Jayson Tatum available?

One good piece of news for the reigning champs. Jayson Tatum is available to play against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. Currently, JT is one of the most important members of the team. Therefore, whenever there is a mild chance that Jayson Tatum might not be around, the fans begin to worry. But now, breathe a sigh of relief because the 26-year-old will be on the court. However, only their small forward Sam Hauser is listed as day-to-day due to his back troubles, thus remaining questionable.

This means that the core starting lineup of Jayson Tatum, JB, Porzingis, Derrick White, and Payton Pritchard will remain unchanged. The good news for the fans is that the beast of a starting five remains untouched. Besides, the Bulls should look forward to keeping up the winning streak. The C’s are best at comebacks, you know!

What’s your perspective on:

Can the Celtics bounce back, or will the Bulls continue their surprising dominance in the rematch?

Have an interesting take?

So Boston will be having their $313 million superstar Jayson Tatum on the team for the face-off. But what about the Bulls? They have two players who remain questionable for Saturday’s matchup. First, the Bulls shooting guard Josh Giddey is listed as day-to-day for his ankle. Meanwhile, Dalen Terry is out with a knee injury.

But the good news is that Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic are on the team. They’re going to be on the floor. LaVine will surely aim for more than 30 points just like Friday while Vooch will go on to be the lethal center picking double-doubles like a piece of cake.

Well, now that we know what the injury report says about the two teams. Let’s look into the depth charts.

So it’s hard to now say who’s got more advantage. Well, kudos to the Chicago Bulls for winning and bringing in this sensational dilemma. Surely, the Boston Celtics have to work their brains off to find ways to resist their ops from winning another game in a row. And well, Joe Mazzulla knows how to make his boys execute a trap for the Bulls to fall into. Besides, Jayson Tatum is also on the team for the action. It’s safe to say, Saturday game night is going to be a thriller!
