In a colossal Eastern Conference clash, the New York Knicks will hit the road to face off against the Toronto Raptors. Both teams are in red-hot form winning six of their last eight games. The Knicks got the better of a solid Rockets side, winning the game with a 124-118. Whereas the Raptors have bounced back with a win against the Clippers.

The Knicks’ success can be attributed to their star point guard, Jalen Brunson who’s been on a scoring rampage! Just last night Brunson had dropped yet another stellar 42-point performance against Houston. However, he’s not the only reason for New York’s great form. Karl-Anthony Towns also needs to get credit for his performance alongside Brunson. In just his first season at the Big Apple, he’s shown why the Knicks traded for him. That said, the Knicks are playing back-to-back tonight so it raises a question: Will Brunson and Anthony Towns suit up for tonight? Let’s find out.

The Knicks will face a stern test at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto tonight. So, it’s only natural that they should have all the resources possible on the court. This being their second game in two days, fatigue is set to play a part and this could mean rest for a few of their stars. However, rest assured, as Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns are available for this heated clash! This probably comes as a sigh of relief for the Knicks fans.

The two have been the reason New York are third seed in the East with a 33-17 record. Furthermore, Brunson leads the team in terms of scoring averaging an impressive 26 points per game. On the flip side, Anthony Towns isn’t far behind averaging 24.3 points, along with the second-most rebounds per game in the league at 13.5!  These two being fit and healthy is great news for New York, but they will miss a few players due to injuries.

This includes their small forward OG Anunoby. He will continue to be on the sidelines for tonight’s matchup due to a foot injury. Anunoby has been pretty solid for the Knicks averaging 16.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and two assists. Furthermore, Mitchell Robinson is also ruled out. The center according to coach Tom Thibodeau has been cleared for contact activities. Lastly, Pacome Dadiet will also miss the game after sustaining a toe injury.

He’ll have to make tweaks to ensure that his team is able to get the job done against a defensively sound Raptors side led by Scottie Barnes. Well, Brunson and Anthony Towns are no-brainers for tonight. Apart from the two Josh Hart is someone who’ll be a deciding factor for tonight.

Overall, The Knicks are favorites to grab the win tonight. That’s because although the Raptors have been hot lately, for most of the season they haven’t been a consistent team. Moreover, Brunson will have to continue his scoring form for New York to get over the hump tonight. On the other hand, Scottie Barnes could provide some hope but it will be an uphill battle for him. That said, it should be a great watch!
