David Benavidez on the other hand fights in the super middleweight and light heavyweight division. He is a two-time World Boxing Council super middleweight champion and is ranked as one of the top boxers by noted organizations.

And Damian Lillard is one of the many who is eager to see these two boxers dance it out in the ring on Cinco De Mayo. Lillard went to X to shun all excuses, tweeting, ?Canelo and David on Cinco De Mayo? gotta happen No excuses.?

Lillard seems pretty adamant for this fight to happen, given his passion for boxing. So, will it come to fruition?
