Kevin Hart calls out nepotism—Is Bronny James' journey fair compared to hardworking single moms?

Kevin Hart retaliates for LeBron James‘ family amid the bone-chilling nepotism roar. While Bronny James has been under the scanner for a long time, things have blown out of proportion after his LA Lakers debut. On top of that, the 19-year-old hasn’t had the greatest of starts to his career, struggling to make buckets at the Summer League. Nevertheless, the 45-year-old star comedian stood for the rising star with strong questions darting his way, addressing the fans who raised nepotism concerns.

In the latest interview with the Bleacher ReportHart asked some tough questions, “Why would Bron not want his child to succeed? Have we skipped to this high level of ignorance that we forget that’s his child? Why do single moms work 20 jobs? Why? Because they’re trying to get whatever they can so that their child has the tools so that they can succeed.”

However, before putting forward these questions, Hart drew a direct personal comparison with the superstar. He added, “My daughter is here now. My daughter is in love with the idea of creativity, producing, and developing. It’s my job as a father to not only give her the right information but put her in the best position to succeed. It’s your job as my child to do the work.” Nevertheless, the Central Intelligence star didn’t stop at that. He further went on to hit back at the naysayers.Hart even went to the extent where he claimed that the naysayers lack “common sense.” He added, “Common sense is key, but it is sad because it’s the most forgotten trait of our f***ing time.” The nepotism row has been tied to Bronny’s neck ever since he was in the spotlight. And, it wouldn’t leave until he makes it big in the league. Until then, Hart’s words would barely have a crack at the naysayers, wouldn’t they?

The rising star surely has improved from where he began. But, he also has a long way to go before perfecting himself for the big league. The Summer League, which rarely got the fans’ attention in the recent past, this year, has all the attention. And, Bronny played a huge role in it. Even during the games, whenever the ball reached the youngster’s hand, a sudden buzz emerged amid the crowd.

Nevertheless, James Jr. didn’t really feed the buzzing crowd with his balling prowess. In the four games, the star barely managed to sink a bucket, averaging 4.3 points games, reminding the NBA world of his freshman year stats.

Notably, he couldn’t have any impact from the perimeter, as he missed all his 14 three-point attempts. However, he finally broke it all, as he dropped his first three-pointer against the Atlanta Hawks and recorded his first double-digit score of 12 points.

He is surely on the right track. Moreover, Kevin Hart pointed out the important aspect of father-son time on the court and dubbed it as “black excellence”. Hart added, “We can create more history within history, by the way, that’s the way we thrive. Take my crown off and I can’t wait to give it to you, son. By the way, we have another one coming.
