During the playoffs, it’s been a norm, of sorts, that players from the winning team get interviewed on TNT’s Inside the NBA. Even in the Dallas vs. Minnesota series, multiple players from the Mavs side made an appearance on the age-old show, including Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. No player from the Wolves roster, however, had the slightest of interactions. As it turns out, Anthony Edwards and Co. were reportedly boycotting the show to support their teammates who had been the butt of several jokes and insults from TNT’s newest member Draymond Green.
According to a report by The Athletic, to show their support for Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns after the derisive and personal comments by Draymond, the Wolves boycotted every interview with the Inside the NBA panel.
Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves chose to boycott interviews with "Inside The NBA" to support Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert, sources tell The Athletic.
That chemistry will give Minnesota a foundation to build upon going forward.

Here are five instances by Draymond that might have provoked the Wolves to make the harsh decision.
1. Draymond Green calls “CAP” on KAT
After an abysmal shooting performance in Game 3 against Dallas, a disappointed Karl-Anthony Towns made a bold claim, “I’m putting up 1500 shots a day.” But Draymond and the rest of the TNT panel immediately jumped to the conclusion that KAT wasn’t telling the truth, with Green being the first to point it out. “KAT capping. Nobody is shooting 1500 shots a day.” He said after seeing KAT go zero of eight from the three-point line that night.
2. Draymond nitpicks KAT’s demeanor after Game 5 loss against Denver
Even during Minnesota’s previous series against Denver, Draymond was not too kind with his remarks against KAT. Upon seeing Towns leave the floor hobbling and limping after a tough loss in Game 5, Draymond looked at it as a sign of weakness from the big man. “The way KAT walked off that floor at the end… they don’t believe anymore,” Green said, counting the Wolves out even before they lost the series.
3. Draymond takes a shot at Rudy Gobert’s native language
While KAT has been criticized by Draymond a few times during these playoffs, that is nothing compared to the criticism Rudy Gobert has faced from the Warriors star. In that same Game 5 against Denver, after Nikola Jokic dropped forty points on Gobert, Draymond wasted no time slamming the French Center for his postgame comments. Calling him “The Big Frenchman”, Green took a dig at Gobert’s native language, “The Big Frenchman speaking his native language ‘We! We! We!’ need to do that.” And that might have not sat well with Gobert’s teammates.
4. Gobert catches strays by Draymond in an unrelated argument
With his forty-point double-double performance in Game 5, Jokic joined Chris Paul as the only player with 40+ points and ten-plus assists without committing a single turnover in a playoff game. And when Ernie Johnson was letting the world know of that stat during the show, Draymond saw that as an opportunity to fire shots at Rudy Gobert. “When Chris Paul had those numbers, it was a common denominator… It was the Rudy Gobert-led Jazz.” Pointing out without confirmation that Gobert was on the receiving end of both those historic performances, Draymond continued his criticism of the Center. And to add insult to injury, Shaq said, “And he probably won DPOY that year too.”
5. Draymond defends himself with a “Rudy Sucks” chant
Unfortunately, Rudy Gobert was on the receiving end of an insane game-winner from Luka Doncic in Game 2 of the West Finals. Following Luka’s nasty moves on Rudy, a video went viral on social media showing Draymond mimicking and mocking Gobert by dancing in the stands. Then, later on Inside the NBA when the Wolves fans were chanting “Draymond Sucks” the Warriors star defended himself by saying, “Rudy Sucks! Not me. What’d I do?”

With so many instances of Draymond taking shots at the Wolves big-man duo, it is understandable why Ant-Man and Co. decided to stay away from the TNT show. And while it might have stung the team a little bit, the decision could help build the chemistry within the team and make them stronger coming into next season. Do you agree?
