So, their recent loss to Lithuania did not go down well amongst the fans, and amidst that, Draymond Green extended his support.

After winning four consecutive games in the World Cup, Team USA lost in the second round 110-104. The unexpected defeat became a source of major frustration for the supporters. The fans were unhappy with the performances of the NBA stars and ridiculed them for their efforts.

As taunting gained momentum, Green raised his voice on social media to back the national team. “Looking forward to watching the guys win the WC!”?the 33-year-old posted to cheer for them. He emphasized with them as the 12 players continued to compete on the islands of Asia to defend the country’s pride.

“I know how it feels to be on that island over there alone,”?he posted to express his feelings. He added,?“The whole nation flip on you,”?to display his understanding of their situation. The Warriors star kept the hope alive as he wrapped up with, “Let?s rock fellas!!”.

Team USA needed a voice in their favor after the harsh words they received in the past few hours. The four-time NBA champion became that as attempted to unite the national team fans with his actions. Now, the ball is on Team USA’s court again.
