Like a lot of basketball players, Moore followed the same path and landed in the WNBA in 2002. Over her seven years in the league, the small forward became a part of six franchises, including Phoenix Mercury, NY Liberty, and LA Sparks. In 2017, her massive 1600+ career points and record-holding steals and assists were rewarded by Wisconsin at their Athletic Hall of Fame.

After giving her best on the hardwood as a player, Moore took over the role of coaching. She started with the girl hoopers of Edison High School from Minneapolis. Then she moved on to Mesabi Range College in 2020. Standing tall amongst the men was the African-American woman, the first of her race to be the head coach of the team. During the 2022 Summer League, a glimpse of Moore’s assistance to the Boston Celtics coaching team was also seen. Two years later, a bigger opportunity knocked at her door and she opened it with a big smile. While Moore has become a huge role model for thousands of girls, she has only one person to thank.
