Jaxson Hayes looks to be in trouble once again. The Los Angeles Lakers center and his former girlfriend, Sofia Jamora, made their relationship public in February 2021 on Instagram. They often posted pictures from their vacations together or captured moments of Jamora cheering Hayes on during his basketball games. At that time, Hayes was with the New Orleans Pelicans. But later in 2022, Jamora filed a lawsuit against Hayes alleging assault by the now-Lakers center.
Hayes originally faced 12 charges but ended up pleading no contest to resisting arrest and false imprisonment. His sentence included three years of probation, 450 hours of community service, and mandatory domestic violence classes. The NBA did not issue any penalties against him. But the league has decided to reopen its investigation into the 2021 incident following a video of the altercation that TMZ released on Saturday. But who is Sofia Jamora?
