Kyle Anderson aka “Slo Mo” is popular for his unbelievably slow playing style. The 6’9″ star’s sluggish game takes away opponents’ rhythm while defending and gives him a major advantage. Interestingly, he has a Chinese name as well. Anderson gained popularity during his time with the San Antonio Spurs for his offensive style and strong defense. The power forward who joined the Minnesota Timberwolves last year, was born and brought up in the United States. However, he will be representing China in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
After four years under the tutelage of legendary head coach Gregg Popovich, Anderson joined the Memphis Grizzlies in 2018 where he played four seasons. Last year, he left the Grizzlies and signed a two-year deal with the Timberwolves.
