Born to Franklyn C Vincent and Cynthia Lin on 14 June 1996 in Modesto, California. As the youngest of three brothers – Justin and Benjamin, Gabe grew up surrounded by a strong family presence. Gabe is very close to his parents, brothers and their families and it reflects on his Instagram as he keeps posting pictures of the Vincent family. 

“They helped instill some things within me like how to deal with people, how to deal with adversity, how to respond to situations. I’m not sure how much of it was intentional but it’s helped me very much so, just staying levelheaded and managing situations, when things get too high, and I balance myself out or when things get too low, and I balance myself out. I try to stay as even keeled as possible“.

Gabe is of mixed racial origin as his father hails from Nigeria and his mother is from Connecticut. His college career stated at UC, Santa Barbara where he played from from 2014 to 2018. After graduating he played for Stockton Kings and in 2020 he was picked by the Miami Heat. In 2023, he got signed by for the Lakers and represented the Nigerian team D’Tigers at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China.
