The Cleveland Cavaliers have made it to the playoffs once again, with Donovan Mitchell’s performance being a huge reason. However, it wasn’t smooth sailing by any means. The regular season was fraught with unexpected twists, turns, and a string of injuries. Since the All-Star break, Mitchell looked only a shell of his dominant self as he suffered back-to-back injuries. First, a bone bruise that was treated with a platelet-rich plasma injection, and then a broken nose, courtesy of a collision with teammate Tristan Thompson’s elbow. However, Spida recently found his footing again with a 33-point outburst against the Indiana Pacers last week. But enough about his on-court heroics, what’s the latest buzz in his love life?
Donovan Mitchell was last romantically linked with Tinara Westbrook, the CEO of Anna Santana Hair Care Company. Westbrook reportedly started the company when was 15 and grew to be one of the “20 most eligible Atlantans of 2022” by Jezebel magazine. While the details of how and when they met haven’t been revealed, the two became official on September 27th, 2022, when the 25-year-old shared pictures of her with the NBA player on her Instagram; including numerous of her presence in the arena.

However, there have been no recent sightings or social media updates featuring the pair. The last of their click is dated back to January 2023. It could, thus, be that the pair have parted ways already, but it is not yet confirmed. It is also possible that the Cavs star is not dating anyone at the moment and focusing on his playoff run.

Spida’s first post-season trip with the Cavs was catastrophic, as his hometown team, the New York Knicks, bullied them in a five-game (4-1) beatdown. However, last year’s humbling exit was an important learning lesson they intend to use this time. “We all believe in ourselves. We always have a chip on our shoulder regardless of whether it’s the No. 1 seed, the No. 10 seed, whatever. This is where we expected to be and now we’ve got to go out there and handle business…We’re in good shape. We’re ready to go,” said the 27-year-old.
The Cavaliers will open this year’s playoffs against another resurging team, the Orlando Magic, tonight in a best-of-seven series. Do you think Mitchell can help the Cleveland Cavaliers advance past the first round this season? Let us know in the comments.
