In only his fourth year, Anthony Edwards has turned into a superstar. From people calling him the next face of the NBA to many even comparing him to the great Michael Jordan, his stardom is far from being a well-kept secret. However, Ant-Man is not the only rising star in the Edwards family. As it turns out, during Thursday’s game between the Nuggets and Wolves, the fans at Target Center were treated to a special halftime performance by none other than Edwards’ older brother, Antony Edwards aka bdifferent.

Dawning the Wolves’ number 5 jersey just like Ant-Man, the rapper took over the arena with his amazing performance, even dropping verses from his latest song ‘In Dat Mode.’ While Antony has been watching his younger brother dominate in the NBA for a long time, it was his turn to steal the show with the Wolves star cheering him on. “I can’t really call it too much but a blessing,” the rapper said about the opportunity to perform in front of a packed arena.

After Ant-Man lost his mother and grandmother to cancer at the early age of 14, it was his three older siblings, Antony, Antoine, and Antoinette, who took care of the future NBA superstar. And if it weren’t for bdifferent, we might never have witnessed the greatness of Ant-Man. Leaning more toward playing football as a kid, Anthony only turned to basketball after watching his brother play, “I wasn’t really a basketball guy growing up, but watching him, I decided to follow in his footsteps. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be up here. I just want to thank him.”

Moreover, Antony was a decent ball player himself playing for the MGA Knights and averaging sixteen points along with six boards just four years ago when Ant-Man was a Georgia Bulldogs freshman. Nevertheless, he eventually decided to build a career in rapping and has even performed at his brother’s AE1 shoe launch, opening for Lil Baby.

Big things coming for the Edwards brothers!

With over twelve thousand followers on Instagram and thousands more on TikTok, bdifferent is slowly starting to make his name in the music industry. While his younger brother continues his pursuit to win his first Championship, Antony also has big planns for his future, “A lot more music.” Recently dropping his latest track on multiple platforms, bdifferent revealed that he has already made a lot of content and is finding a way to infuse that with his music.

Then, the rapper also revealed how big a support system Ant-Man has been to motivate him in his music career, “Tremendous… He’s on my head all the time about sending new songs.” Apparently, Ant loves to listen to his brother’s music before games, which fuels him to create even more content.

Saying that watching his brother play for the Wolves and doing so well is like him watching a live dream, Antony was proud to be a part of Ant’s journey. Even in the video he posted of his Thursday’s halftime performance, bdifferent didn’t forget to give a shoutout to his little brother. That being said, seeing both Edwards brothers taking immense strides in their respective fields while also supporting each other is definitely heartwarming to watch. Do you agree?
