The Golden State Warriors have some of the most exciting young talent in the league. Their roster features the likes of Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, and Moses Moody. The newest addition to his esteemed list is the big man, Trayce Jackson-Davis. The 22-year-old is quickly rising through the ranks in the Bay Area. However, it hasn’t come without adversities. Well, these adversities were not like any other, as before Tracye even turned six, he had to go through 2 major surgeries.
He was hit by a metal door handle with the velocity of a bullet, and just two years later, he was struck by a golf club by his best friend. Due to this, doctors had to implant a titanium screw in his head. Naturally, after this, Trayce’s parents were worried about whether their son would be able to grow up to live a normal life, much less play in the NBA one day. But, thanks to the doctors and his parents’ hard work, he has turned out just fine.

Dale has an illustrious 17-year career in the NBA. Most notably known for his time in Indiana for the Pacers, he was a beast of a rebounder and a great defender as well. He also played for several other teams, such as Portland and Detroit, even for Trayce’s current team, the Warriors, before calling it quits in 2007. On the other hand, Trayce’s stepfather, who might not be biologically related to him, has had a significant impact on his life.
Raymond is a former NFL player and suited up for Washington State. Now, Raymond serves as the Chief of police for the Center Grove School District. As for Trayce’s mom, Karla is a professional hairstylist and has been her son’s backbone since childhood. Interestingly, Trayce has an older sister, Arielle, and also a younger brother, Tayven, who plays football. By this, one can assume that Trayce has grown up in a sporting family, and that’s a fact. This has helped him develop into the rising star he is today.
