Did Steph Curry's family deserve better protection during the Paris Olympics? What's your take on this?

Moments after the epic Olympic gold medal final, the chief impact maker, Steph Curry was on cloud nine. He had his wife, Ayesha Curry, his children, and his family all present during his maiden conquest. However, while he went to the lockers to celebrate, his family faced an uncomfortable situation with the Paris police. The video of the same spread like wildfire as the police denied Ayesha Curry and Sonya to go to their vehicle.

But where were they trying to get to? With her newborn Caius, the New York Times bestseller might have been trying to make her way back to the hotel. After returning home, the Chef’s sister Sydel Curry-Lee revealed the luxurious hotel they spent their time in when in Paris.

Through her Instagram story, Sydel answered several demanding questions from her fans. One fan asked for the hotel that they stayed in, and it happened to be one of the only lavish hotels in the area. Ayesha Curry and the family had their stay at the  Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal. It happens to be one of the only extravagant hotels in Palais Royal with the cheapest room costing $569 per night going all the way up to the deluxe suites that cost over $3000. It is only a half-hour drive from the hotel to the Bercy Arena, where the Olympics knockouts were held.

The  Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal is also located very close to the Louvre, a feature Sydel Curry appreciated. She rated her Paris accommodation experience 9/10 according to her Instagram stories.

LeBron James and Joel Embiid too faced the brutality of Paris

It wasn’t just Ayesha and the Curry family that went through a poor experience in Paris. During the night of their celebrations, LeBron James too was involved in an incident with a little kid. While it sounds degrading to the King, the true story helps us understand the reason behind his unusually aggressive reaction.

What looked like a simple kid trying to get a picture turned dark. There are several videos in which the kid can be heard uttering the ‘N-word’ to LeBron James. Offended by the name-calling, James decided to put the kid in his place and yelled “Stop it!”.

Have an interesting take?

Aside from James, Joel Embiid had to endure the longest tyranny of the French crowd by far. From the time the versatile center landed in the country, the fans began heckling at him. It can be traced to Embiid choosing to play for Team USA in the Olympics over France. The rejection didn’t sit well with the crowd who at every game had a jarring reaction for each time The Process had the ball.

Ultimately, he got the last laugh, leaving by not only winning gold but also beating France in the Final.
