A day after Stephen Curry made history by marching past  3500 3-pointers, the game against the Portland Trail Blazers was a heartbreak for him. His 268-game streak ended as he could not score even a single 3-pointer. Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors added one more feather to their winning streak as they defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 118-114. But Curry’s disappointment seemed to weigh too heavily on his teammates.

Warriors faced the trailblazzers without Draymond Green who has been suspended indefinitely by the NBA for his ‘unsportsmanlike acts’. Warriors had been relying a lot on Curry’s leadership and performance. But the Trailblazers’ game shocked his fans as Curry could not score double-digit pointers. The game that started the streak was against Detroit Pistons on December 1, 2018. For five long years, Stephen Curry kept entertaining the audience by hitting in every game from outside the arc.
