During one sequence, the French international showcased his athletic abilities, as it shocked the entire world.

What did Victor Wembanyama do?

In the opening pre-season game of the San Antonio Spurs, the 19-year-old stepped on the NBA court for the first time. In the first quarter of their away match against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the center extended his side’s lead dominantly. When the opponent tried to attack the paint, Wembanyama successfully stole the ball.

He extended his right arm unusually, as it resulted in a Thunder turnover before the Spurs put together a quick counter. Victor ran to the other side of the court as Holmgren tried to close him down, following the loss in possession. He failed to stop the international youngster as the latter dunked the ball to put his team ahead by 6 points.

The majority of the viewers were shell-shocked as they could not believe their eyes. The media personality, Jason Timpf, shared the clip, expressing his disbelief. “What the hell kind of alien s*** is this lol,” he jokingly stated, failing to make peace with the reality.
