A decade ago, DeAndre Jordan was known for his association with the LA Clippers. The team that created an impressive brand of basketball. Ever heard of the Lob City Clippers? The perfect trio of Jordan, Chris Paul, and Blake Griffin electrified the court with their high-flying style of play. Years down the lane, the trio parted ways. Now, the 6 ’11 big man has taken a spot in the Denver Nuggets franchise.

Despite the popularity he had garnered in the early 2010s, the big man isn’t found under the radar at the Mile-High City. Well, there’s a reason behind it. The Serbian baller Nikola Jokic has taken over the #5 position, quite literally. When the game slowly was dominated by the guards, Joker pulled it back with his 3 MVPs and looks poised to win his 4th this season.

Amid this brilliance, DeAndre Jordan barely spent time on the court. Well, he is also in the last stage of his illustrious career and Michael Malone doesn’t burden him with overload. Nevertheless, he had his limelight on Sunday night, taking on the Rockets. Jordan made his third start of the season in Jokic’s absence and surprised everyone with a double-double (11 pts and 15 rbs). The performance also included an alley-oop dunk, taking everyone to the past. With that, let’s take a brief detour and learn more about the 36-year-old.
