Could Podziemski's frustration signal a brewing storm for the Warriors despite Curry's return?

Is Brandin Podziemski okay? Well, the Warriors are in Washington going head-to-head against the Wizards, hoping to continue their hot start to the season. And things were going great as they headed into the second half with a nine-point lead. However, concerns quickly rose as Podziemski left the game just seconds into the third quarter.

Yes, the youngster was one of the starters for his team in the second half. But even before completing a minute on the court, he pointed at the bench during a live play and asked to be subbed out, signaling that something was very wrong. Meanwhile, the Warriors committed a shot clock violation and turned the ball over. Brandin Podziemski immediately headed to the tunnel, seemingly frustrated with Rick Celebrini as a concerned Stephen Curry talked to him on his way back.

While it was “tough to figure out what happened,” per Anthony Slater, Brandin kept shaking his head and removed the mask that he had been wearing to protect his broken nose. Unfortunately, it was revealed minutes later that the shooting guard was out for the remainder of the game because he was not feeling well. Meanwhile, Lindy Waters III checked into the game to replace Podziemski, as his night ended with 2 points and 4 rebounds.
