Forbes declared LeBron James a billionaire back in 2022. The King became the first player active NBA player with a billion-dollar net worth. With the same status, it goes without saying that he would be the owner of a luxury car collection. He still is quite young when it comes to these heavy purchases. However, the Laker certainly knows his cars and doesn’t miss out on adding some of the very unique models to his collection. The athlete-cum-businessman also recently tackled what looked like a publicity stunt by a dealership.

Recently, a car showroom tagged Bron on Instagram, claiming he purchased what looks like a supercar. He quickly responded, “Stop the [cap]!! LIARS!! I don’t know y’all and I don’t even have that car. CLOUT CHASERS,” nipping this rumor right in the bud. Nevertheless, compared to that car, controversially posted by the agency, LeBron James’ collection displays more luxury with faster and more furious beasts. Today we’re going to be looking at some of the top cars in the King’s collection.

1. Rolls Royce Phantom

Starting off the luxury car list, the Phantom may be the most expensive gift LeBron has ever received. Yes, he did not buy this royal automobile, instead, it was gifted to him by his former teammate. The only graciously generous individual who could give such an expensive car is no other than Shaq. Bron and Big Diesel played together for a year in Cleveland back in 2009.

Dropping 48 points on his 25th birthday, James was off to an exciting start to the celebrations. Only a while later did O’Neal reveal that he bought the youngster a 2009 Phantom which at the time was priced around $400K. This piece of tech can go from 0 to 60mph in only 5.2 seconds! As big and surprising of a gift as this was, the next car on the list comes from the same day.

2. Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

Turning 25, James was already an MVP and was on track for his 2nd MVP season. His last few years with Cleveland, before he went to South Beach, were the most dominant ones. He was making All-NBA, MVPs, All-Star appearances, and a lot more. While everything was so quick-paced, he gifted himself a 599 GTB Fiorano on his 25th birthday, running fast on and off the court. His 3rd Ferrari cost him over $300K. This beauty could go as fast as 26mph and was worth every penny at the time and there couldn’t have been a more suitable owner than LeBron James! The F430 Spider and the 458 Italia Spider are the other two Ferraris he owns.

3. Mercedes Maybach S-650

The S-650 is one of the recent additions to James’ collection. Valued at around $200K, this version of the S-Class was followed by many others, however, the one in James’ possession is no less of a purchase of sheer comfort and class with its 6.0L Bi-Turbo V12 engine and 7-gear transmission system. Going from 0-62 in under 5 seconds, this beauty doesn’t need an introduction. This was also the 2nd Maybach in Bron’s collection, with the first being the Maybach 57 S, which was launched in 2008. Regardless, his recent S-Class has all the modern features and a classy feel to it.

4. Lamborghini Aventador Roadster (LeBron James Exclusive, King’s Pride)

Talking about the exclusive and unique hot rods, the 2013 Aventador Roadster was exclusively designed for LeBron James in collaboration with Nike by Rich B Caliente, Loulavie, and Toys for Boys Miami. The color scheme of the Lambo matched with his latest signature shoe at the time, LeBron XI King’s Pride. Not only that, but the car also featured some unique details, including a Nike logo!

It was priced at around $700K. Back in 2013, LBJ was a 2-time champion and 4-time league MVP. His name was on every baller’s tongue and it was around the same time that the serious GOAT debates came through. But this flying car in his collection stands out with a ‘one and only’ look to it that can go as fast as 217mph.

5. Porsche 918 Spyder

The most expensive car in his collection, the 918 Spyder, had the King spend $1.4 million. Following his championship run in 2020, LeBron James was spotted cruising the Porsche on the highway. Talking about crazy speeds, it goes from 0-62 (miles) in just 2.6 seconds. Having a top speed of 214 mph, this car also accounts for one of the fastest in his collection.

James has several other cars in his collection, like the Chevy Camaro SS, Dodge Challenger SRT8 392, Hummer H2, Kia K900, Bentley Continental GT, etc, though these were some of the best out of all. The King will definitely add more to his collection in the future. But with his current lineup valued at around $5 million, it will be interesting to see him make a billionaire purchase soon.
