Is there anything Anthony Edwards can’t do? This seems to be the foremost question on everyone’s mind as ANT just dropped a spectacular video on his Instagram. No, No, it’s not another one of his highlight dunks or an underwater workout session like Jaylen Brown. In fact, it is nothing related to basketball. Well… it does have a very close relationship with the sport.

Hip-hop! Yup, ANT just dropped a beautiful freestyle rap video, and it’s well on its way to being the next anthem. Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, ‘Not Like Us,’ might have been ‘the track’, but this might just overtake that, too. That’s how good he is. Captioned, “Might Just flow like I’m Bub,” the Timberwolves star practically paid tribute to all his teammates, the ANT way.

LeBron James, Jrue Holiday, Stephen Curry, Bam Adebayo, Kevin Durant, and Anthony Davis featured prominently in his freestyle rap. Showing off his Gold medal, (at one point, even singing to it), it seems like Ant-Man is still giddy from the Team USA victory. And why wouldn’t he be?

One of the most consistent scorers in a veteran-stacked, talent-laden, elite team, Anthony Edwards, made sure his presence was felt on the court. He averaged 12.8 points per game, with a team-best 26 points against Puerto Rico. Joining hands with his idol and Olympic staple, KD, the pair led the team off the bench, often rising to the occasion and saving Team USA when things got a little too close for comfort.

And now, it looks like he is reliving every moment of his time with the greats of the NBA, encapsulating the well-spent time beautifully in the video. One of the ‘coldest’ lines by Ant was surely “I might ball out like Bron!” Suffice it to say, the comment section is blowing up with awe, love, and pure shock. But the appearance of a certain rapper might make a few Atlanta fans’ hearts beat a little faster.

Popular rapper and an ardent Hawks fan, Quavo was full of praise for Anthony Edwards

Primarily known as the frontman for his now-defunct group, Migos, Quavious Keyate Marshall, or Quavo, also commented on his appreciation for Anthony Edwards’ music. “Get in there 5 🔥” he wrote. Fellow Atlanta native and a loyal Hawks fan, his presence certainly leaves one wondering if his preferences might have changed! Then again, it could be just a fellow rapper recognizing and admiring ANT’s skill. Whatever the reason, there’s no doubt it is slightly worrying for Atlanta fans.

Adidas Basketball, though, was speaking for the whole of America when it commented, “what can’t he do?” The 23-year-old certainly sounds like he’s been at this for a long time. So much so that cooking up a few verses at any time of the day is nothing extraordinary. Then again, he is extraordinary.

This next fan just announced Anthony Edwards as the winner for freestyle rapping. “1st ever Gold medal Freestyle 😂🔥” It honestly wouldn’t be surprising at this point if the man does win Gold in the category. Who knows? Maybe the Olympics will introduce it as a competition in the foreseeable future. And if it does, don’t be surprised to see a 6’4, 225-pound energy ball just sprint to the center of the stage.

Yet another fan dubbed him “MVP of Life.” He sure is. Anthony Edwards is living a good life. And a Larry O’Brien title would complete it, too, wouldn’t you say? Well, next season might be it.

Let us know what you think of Edwards’ freestyle in the comments.
