Where is Bogdan Bogdanovic’s family from? Exploring his family details

If you notice, the European players in the NBA are growing as the seasons pass. And Bogdan Bogdanovic comes from Belgrade, Serbia, a country rich in culture and sports. This makes his nationality Serbian, but unfortunately, his ethnicity is not known. However, talking about his family roots, his parents, Dragan and Koviljka Bogdanovic, raised him and his sister, Bojana, in Belgrade. The sports madness in the family began with his father, Dragan, being a volleyball coach. He has been a big influence on his son’s work ethic and competitive drive. Although we don’t know much about Dragan’s personal life, his role as a coach undoubtedly shaped his son’s disciplined approach to basketball.

On the other hand, Koviljka, his mother, has been a constant presence in his life, always there to support him at games, especially when he plays for the Serbian national team. Even though they live in Serbia, they’ve always made it a point to be at his games when it counts. For a young player, having that kind of backing must be invaluable. For instance, his parents once traveled all the way to the Philippines to witness one of his greatest achievements: Serbia making it to the FIBA World Cup final.

Even after their semifinal win against Canada, he shared a special moment with them. “Them and my friends, they believed since day one. And we were booking tickets, you know, we didn’t know who would come with us as a team, and I’m so happy that they are here to witness this moment and to share it with me and this is unbelievable,” he said. The 32-year-old’s words show just how much his parents’ support means to him.
