4-time NBA champion, LeBron James has certainly cemented his place in the history books as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Although he often shows his intense side on the court. He’s really one of the goofiest personalities off the court as per his teammates. When he was playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers Back in 2007, he hosted the SNL (Saturday Night Live), where he showed his tremendous comic timing. Interestingly, that gig got him a part in a $140 million movie.
While performing in the SNL skit, he caught the eyes of many stars from that show. One of them actually recommended James to the director of the 2015 movie ‘Trainwreck’, as the $14 million rich SNL star felt surprised by one of James’ traits.

Apart from Amy Schumer, SNL star Bill Hader was the other lead actor in the movie ‘Trainwreck’. He and the director of the movie, Judd Apatow, went to Miami Heat Game to watch James and talk to him about the movie later. In the recent episode of “A King’s Reign” podcast, Hader and Apatow talked at length about casting James in the movie.
Hader said, “He has an incredibly good sense of humor. What always surprised me about LeBron was his willingness to go weird. He’s more interested in something a little more strange as opposed to playing off of his persona.“
The director of that movie also praised James’ sense of humor as a person, which he used tremendously well in the movie. Apart from James, WWE legend John Cena was also part of the movie.
Austin Reaves opens up about James and his behavior off the court
In the recent media interaction, Lakers’ star Austin Reaves shed some light on his viral meme moment with ‘The King’. The young Lakers star also talked about James’ behavior, saying, “He [LeBron James] acts like a da*n kid. He acts like he’s 18. I never really see him in a bad mood. Always joking, laughing, having a good time.”
Speaking about his bond with James, Reaves further said, “You can talk to him about anything. You could have good conversation with him. You could joke around with him. The best thing about him is that he comes to work every day happy.”

James will turn 39 soon as he will enter his 21st year in the NBA next season. After a great run last season, the Akron Hammer will look to go one step further and win his 5th championship.
