Brandon Miller has embarked on his debut NBA season, having played just two games so far. The 20-year-old sensation was the second overall pick in the 2023 draft, following Victor Wembanyama. In his inaugural game, Miller made an impact with 13 points during his 25 minutes on the court.

However, it was during his second NBA showdown against the Detroit Pistons that the young player truly began to capture the hearts of NBA fans.

In a crucial moment at the end of the second quarter, Miller found himself isolated near the basket, seeking a quick basket. Yet, as he went for his shot, he met Isaiah Stewart in mid-air. In classic Beef Stew fashion, the big man attempted to intimidate the young rookie.

In response, Miller summoned his inner Kobe Bryant and stared down, unfazed, in a Mamba-like fashion.

Interestingly, Miller dons the number 24 jersey for the Hornets. Furthermore, in a nod to Kobe Bryant, he sported the iconic Grinch sneakers during the game.

Additionally, his followers have drawn parallels between him and Kobe Bryant due to his shooter’s mentality.
