In an interview with ESPN journalist Malika Andrews, Stephen Curry talked about his experience with his new superstar teammate, Chris Paul. Prior to the interview, Steve Kerr compared CP3?s arrival in Golden State to 2-time Champion Kevin Durant?s infamous 2016 move. Even though the two legends have unique playing styles, they are both Hall of Fame players. And Kerr revealed that watching Steph and CP3 compete in practice reminded him of how Durant and Steph used to go at it during their dominant run in the NBA. Malika asked how Steph felt about his Head Coach?s comparison.

Steph replied, ?Different players, but there is an element of ‘We wanna be Great’?. Steph also believes despite their different playing styles, CP3 and KD share the same hunger for competing at the highest level and winning a Championship. Curry also revealed that he has been spending a lot of time with Chris Paul during practice, after practice, and even in the weight room.

The Warriors’ new Superstar Duo will make their debut this weekend

The superstar duo of Curry and Paul will make their on-court debut this weekend in their preseason opener against LeBron James and Co. Chef Curry confirmed that both he and Paul will play in the game against the Lakers. This will help them test their new lineup and see how they work together on the court. Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and Kevon Looney will join Steph and CP as the Starting 5 for the game.
