Patrick Beverley had a decent showing in his 76ers debut. He scored 12 points in 14 minutes of play. But the moment of the match came in the 3rd Quarter when Patrick Beverley hit Jaylen Brown with his infamous “too small” celebration. Beverley made a Rajon Rondoesque move on Jaylen Brown. The 6’1 guard faked a layup and turned around to hit a smooth floater. After making the shot, Beverley ran back to his side of the court, hitting the “too small” celebration. It was reminiscent of Beverley’s taunt over King James last season.

 

LeBron James was the first victim of Patrick Beverley’s antics. After being traded to the Chicago Bulls from the Lakers last season, Beverley made a similar move on King James. He faked a layup and turned around for a floater. Beverley was animated after making the shot over one of the GOATs and let him know with the “too small” celebration. A few days after the taunt went viral, LeBron’s teammate Austin Reaves took the revenge for his veteran superstar.

But 3 days later, LeBron got his revenge as his teammate Austin Reaves responded to Beverley with his version of the “too small” celebration. Reaves drove to the paint and hit an easy floater over his former teammate. Reaves replicated what Beverley did to LeBron a few days back and got his revenge. The Lakers ended up winning that match against Patrick Beverley and Co.
