From Victor Wembanyama to Joe Burrow to Maluma- yes, that’s the current profile diversity at Vogue World: Paris. While other sports stars and celebrities are likely in France on vacation, Wemby is there for the upcoming Olympics and is also fulfilling his brand endorsement duties. Because why not? Place Vendôme is the destination witnessing these latest trends and the NBA fraternity isn’t short on reps, as Russell Westbrook, among many others, is there too. But the center of attraction is an unexpected height comparison.

Dressed in all-white, Wemby participated in the closing event of the day, alongside former track and field sprinter Marie-José Pérec. With two athletes of French origin walking side by side, the moment certainly highlighted the significance that sports holds in the country of France right before the onset of the Olympics. However, as the NBA youngster walked in the camera angle made Kendell and the Wemby overlap and the glaring height difference seemed rather awkward with a fan commenting “alien” on the viral video!

The outfit donned by the San Antonio Spurs star was a classic LV creation, designed by none other than Pharrell Williams himself. According to the official website, the suit is accompanied by a double-breasted jacket with wide-leg pants to match it.

On the other hand, taking to his official Instagram account, Westbrook highlighted his foray into Vogue World. Dressed from head to legs in a beige-like color outfit, with a pair of black shoes and red eyewear, the 35-year-old oozed style as he made his presence known. He bumped fists with Pharrell, sitting across from fashion designer Mike Amiri, and posing alongside Sergei Ibaka. Carmelo Anthony was another member of the NBA fraternity present, dressed in a colorful mosaic-like outfit. Besides the sports fraternity, the event certainly could not have lived up to its name without the presence of several other A-listers.

From celebrated models like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid to music stars Bad Bunny and Ciara, an All-Star lineup made themselves available to add grace to the ultra-exclusive fashion show. Coming back to Wemby, taking up a fashion-based endorsement has helped the youngster. How you’d wonder.

Louis Vuitton solved one of Victor Wembanyama’s major problems

Given the popularity he has amassed since he entered the NBA last year and his taller-than-usual stature, Victor Wembanyama is slowly establishing himself. Before being present alongside other French athletes at Vogue Fashion Week, the 20-year-old was at the Louis Vuitton Paris show held a few days ago. Having recently signed a deal to serve as an ambassador of the $382 billion company, Wemby entered the event dressed in a grey suit, black shoes, and a $13,191-worth bag of the brand. With the clothes perfectly fitting the huge athlete, Louis Vuitton certainly seems to have solved a major dilemma!

During an interview with GQ back in February, the Spurs player revealed how his 7 foot 2 stature did not leave him with many clothing options except for sweatsuits. This caused him to say, “I’m tall, but I’m also pretty thin, so it’s always been hard to find clothes that fit”. However, thanks to his new partnership, he highlighted that fans “can expect me to wear nice and beautiful clothes, which has been, before in my life, a struggle—but is now possible with LV.” Well, this is just the beginning of Victor Wembanyama’s career.
