Simone Biles has done it again. If (a big if at that) there was ever a doubt about her GOAT status, her 6th Olympic Gold medal, her 31st overall, seals the deal that Simone Biles is the greatest ever. To witness her majestic win, stars crashed at the Bercy Arena in Paris. Devin Booker and his USA teammates were in attendance as they captured the winning moment on their recording devices, soaking in the piece of Olympic history. LeBron James, the king, the arguable GOAT even put his stamp of approval on Simone Biles’ greatness.
NBA world reacts to Simone Biles’ Olympic win
To commemorate the occasion, LeBron shared a post on his Instagram story. The 4-time NBA champion left a GOAT emoji on it to convey his short but powerful message. “Since 1976, every women’s Olympic All-Around champion has been under the age of 20. Simone Biles is 27 years old,” the original post highlighted this mindblowing stat, drawing a parallel between Biles and LeBron as they continue to defy age.
