The Warriors have found themselves in an unfortunate endless loop. One moment they have a two-game winning streak and the next moment they suffer an embarrassing loss. However, this time, it looked different. Stephen Curry & Co. defeated the top-seed OKC Thunder in a commanding fashion, bringing back hope in the Bay Area. The trade deadline barely mattered on Wednesday night. Hours later, fans tuned in to watch the Suns game. Boom. We are back to square one.

Devin Booker took his anger out, following his All-Star snub, leading his team to a 25-point blow-out victory. Steph, on the other hand, continued to struggle with his shooting, recording 5-14 from the field. And with no significant step-up from the rest of the roster, the team suffered a 130-105 loss. Guess what? It triggered the buzz around trade once again with only 5 days remaining before the deadline.

The reporters caught hold of Stephen Curry after the Suns’ loss and only wanted to know about the Warriors’ next moves ahead of the deadline. The Baby-faced Assassin seemed unfazed by the reporters’ urgency and calmly said, “I think every trade deadline since (2022 Championship) has been a little uneasy but the further you get away from winning it becomes a little bit more of a sense of urgency,” and most importantly, he got away without giving away anything about the trade.

However, a reporter continued to further press on the trade deadline debate and asked if he hoped for any action from the front office. Firstly, he again dodged it, saying, “It’s not for me to make those decisions.” But at the same time, Stephen Curry sent a message to Mike Dunleavy & Co. Loud and clear. I want to win. So whatever it means to, do that.”

While the Chef refused to give away anything to us, the latest rumor has a Chicago Bulls superstar heavily linked to the Warriors in the last few hours. Let’s find out.

What’s your perspective on:

Is it time for the Warriors to shake things up and trade for Zach LaVine?

Have an interesting take?

So, we are talking about Zach LaVine here. Right from the Warriors‘ struggle to have stability since their 12-3 run, LaVine and Nikola Vučević were constantly linked to the Dubs. After the win against the OKC Thunder, LaVine’s name again popped up. This time, Anthony Slater, the renowned Dubs Insider, made a confident statement.

Slater said, “After pulse-taking conversations with multiple players, it seems Zach LaVine might pique more interest, depending on his cost.” So, the Warriors may expect the prolific offense machine to don the blue and yellow jersey.

However, before we dwell in imagination, Slater further added, “There is locker-room concern about who the Warriors would send away in a hypothetical trade for a high-salaried player, such as Butler or LaVine.”

Looking at LaVine’s scenario, the star forward has two years remaining in his current contract valued at around $99 million, with an annual salary of $44 million. So, the Dubs have to find a few assets in order to replace him. With Andrew Wiggins, averaging 20.4 points in the last 10 games, will be a great place for the Warriors to start thinking about the trade. What do you make of it? Let us know in the comments.
