While everything went as per plan, where fans witnessed the superstars having a go at each other, a child stole the show out of nowhere. Amid the evenly poised match-up between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers, a buzzer beater three-pointer from a little boy left everyone unsettled. Moreover, he went viral on social media as the NBA world went gaga.

This is the second match up between the Lakers and Dubs this preseason. However, the fans were disappointed in the first game, as James decided to sit out for the game. Meanwhile, the expectation skyrocketed for this Friday night game. Rightly so, the superstars lived up to the expectation in a fully packed Crypto.com Arena. Besides that, Steph and Bron sat on the bench after the first half, but the little boy made sure to keep the spectators unsettled.

After the third quarter, the announcer called in a little boy on to the court, asking to face a three-pointer challenge. He had 30 seconds in his hand to drop a three pointer to win a chance to meet the Lakers stars and train with them. The little Lakers fanboy had everyone’s attention, including the players.

The crowd went along with the kid, impressed by his shooting skills. He missed several close buckets until he dropped one on the buzzer. Following that, the veteran commentator, Mike Breen, went all out and screamed, “Bang,” while LeBron James pointed at him in awe – apart from the crowd erupting, cheering for the boy – probably the biggest cheer of the night.

The officials then escorted the boy off the court amid the loud cheer from the crowd.

Even the players from both sides took a moment to witness the magic.
