A few months ago, LeBron James and Stephen Curry joined hands for a common cause. It was a blockbuster hit when the duo helped Team USA clinch the Gold medal at the Paris Olympics. At that time, fans wondered whether they would ever witness this team up again. Fast forward to now, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar has a similar concern ahead of the Christmas Day match-up against the Golden State Warriors.

There are plenty of interesting match-ups in this season. But one of them always unites the entire NBA world. It’s the Steph-Bron battle. Thanks to their mid-2010s rivalry. And, a Christmas Day match-up can’t get away without their presence. They have met a few times on the X-Mas Day match-ups, the notable one being the 2016 outing which the Cavs won by one point.

Amid this exciting history, LeBron James addressed the press ahead of the game and had a candid response. It was a post-game interview straight after he lost against the Pistons. The reporter pointed out the uncertain number of Christmas match-ups the duo will have in the future and asked how much Bron valued facing Stephen Curry. More importantly, the imposing retirement question is also staring at his face. The superstar candidly said, Always. Anytime you give an opportunity to be on a court and compete against one of the greats that played this game and you know, you don’t take it for granted.”
