Going against the reigning champions is never easy. Especially now when the Boston Celtics are almost unstoppable, resisting them is difficult. However, the Milwaukee Bucks tried the impossible. Did they succeed? No. But, amidst the setback, there was one standout: Giannis Antetokounmpo. By now, you shouldn’t even be surprised knowing he scores over 30 points for Milwaukee in almost all the games. Meanwhile, a last-minute slip-up from the Greek Freak triggered an unapologetic response in the locker room.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is an unstoppable force on the court. A fearless center- Milwaukee Bucks‘ favorite hero. But, when the same here misses a shot? Surprising. On Friday’s game against the Boston Celtics, while Giannis scored 30 points, he also missed with about a minute and a half left on the clock. He pulled up for a three-pointer from the left wing, but the C’s center Al Horford stood before him, ready to defend as and when needed.

It’s hard to guess whether the 30-year-old forward was distracted by Horford’s demeanor- however, he missed. But, Giannis in his usual style was impenitent. He told the reporters in the Bucks locker room: “Coming down, seeing Al Horford you know, bucking up. I felt like I could make it. Shot it. Went well, in my opinion. If I had the chance, I’d shoot it again. I’ve made it multiple times, so I’d shoot it again.”

Meanwhile, right after Giannis missed his shot Jrue Holiday snatched a rebound, passed it to Horford, and he scored a three-pointer instead.

This UNO Reserve moment channeled new energy into Al’s wife Amelia who was relishing the game courtside.

Giannis’ late miss fueled Al Horford’s wife Amelia’s thrill

Amelia was there to watch her husband’s side, that is, the Boston Celtics win the game. She wasn’t there to watch Giannis Antetokounmpo & Co. run the show. But, since the game wasn’t truly one-sided, Mrs. Horford had to wait for the moment to come. And when it did, she just couldn’t contain her excitement.
