However, the Los Angeles Lakers forward has always been a keen enthusiast of other sports. By investing in teams across multiple sports, The Chosen Ones has proved that his influence does not stop on the basketball court. However, football has fascinated the NBA star for several years. Hence, when an NFL star’s spectacular pass caught James’ attention, he had to give show his love for it.

The much-awaited NFL season is almost upon the United States. With less than a week before preseason begins, the excitement in the country is through the roof. The teams have been putting in the work in their training camps. The Baltimore Ravens are doing no different.

During their recent training camp at the M&T Bank Stadium, The Ravens’ star quarterback, Lamar Jackson made an incredible pass to their new acquisition, Odell Beckham Jr. This pass caught LeBron James’ attention.

The King immediately took to Instagram to show his love for the Ravens quarterback: “Ayyyee!!”

James showed his sports spirit for Jackson, who recently signed a major $260M deal with the Ravens and their newly acquired star, Odell Beckham Jr. However, James ties with football runs deep.

James has a long history with football

LeBron James has made a strong case for himself to be considered one of the greatest basketball players. The all-time leading scorer in the NBA has made an unbelievable resume for himself in the league. However, a little known fact about the 19 time All Star is that while he was the most hyped basketball prospect coming out of high school, he was also a terrific football player.

James had the Fighting Irish’s coaches stunned with his football abilities as well. James, 14 years old at the time, was already 6’6 and could outplay anyone on the football ground too. He played two full seasons with the St.Vincent -St.Mary high school, becoming the No.1 football prospect out of Ohio. James never budged on his dream to play in the NBA but with his talent, he could have been an all time great in football too.

The King has spectated several football games over the years, also publicly identifying as a Dallas Cowboys fan. The 4-time NBA champion was also famously offered deals from the Cowboys as well as the Seattle Seahawks during the 2011 NBA lockout.
